Since this is my first blog post, I guess I should let you know a little bit about myself. My name is Jonathan. I am 25 years old college graduate currently residing in Pennsylvania. I work in the IT industry as a service desk technician. Service desk is just another fancy term for help desk; yes, I’m on the bottom of the totem poll. I just graduated last may from the State University of New York with a bachelor’s in computer science.
I currently live with my fiancée, Katie. Katie and I met a few years ago while interning for a company paid its workers the least money while nicely emptying all of its customers’ pockets. This company is simply a cash magnet. They take everything from their customers. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun while getting fucked by the company. If it wasn’t for the hard times we endured as interns with this company, a relationship between Kate and me would’ve never flourished. So, thank you, company, for fucking us while we worked there, but giving us to become the blissfully in love. Thank you!
The company, by the way, is Walt Disney World. We met over there while working at Epcot for the Walt Disney World College Program (WDWCP). Recently, Katie and I took a trip back to Disney. While on that trip, I proposed to her in fake Italy, located in Epcot, between Germany and The American Adventure. When you can’t go to the real country, you go to the next best thing! It was great. She loved it, I loved it, and now we’re getting ready to get married!
I’ve been working as a help desk tech. for just under one year. My one year review will come in October. Boss, if you’re reading this, I REALLY NEED A RAISE! I’m not kidding; getting married is expensive! I work for a large business process outsourcing company who is currently in charge of the IT department for a local entity in Pennsylvania.
I like my job. The people I work with are extremely cool and the users keep us very busy; no two days are ever the same. It always makes me feel good when an end user calls screaming about their computer not working, only to find out that the monitor wasn’t turned on!
On this site, you can expect to find lots of random things. I won’t specialize in one single topic like other blogs do. On here, I’ll talk about a lot of things that interest me such as computers, entrepreneurship, reading, personal finance, technology, humor, and more.
